Calendar Highlight – World Day of Social Justice

Date: February 20

Established by the United Nations in 2007, this day calls on Member States to promote social justice through fair economies, equity, democracy, and inclusion. It reinforces the right to full, productive, and fair employment for all, recognising that social justice is essential for peace, prosperity, and sustainable development. By addressing issues such as poverty, discrimination, and barriers to equal opportunity, this day serves as a reminder that true progress can only be achieved when economic and social policies prioritise fairness.

At Diversity Atlas, we champion these values by helping organisations measure and understand their workforce diversity, ensuring they are inclusive and representative of the communities they serve.

When businesses embrace diversity and inclusion, they contribute to stronger, more resilient societies where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.
