Oktoberfest

Oktoberfest is one of the worlds’ largest folk festivals, featuring a beer festival, a travelling funfair, spread across a seventeen day period. The official Oktoberfest is held in Munich, Germany, with over six million international and national visitors attending the event. An important part of Bavarian culture, it has been held since 1810. During the 2014 festival, it is estimated 7.7 million litres of beer was served.
