Ayudha Puja
Ayudha Puja is a Hindu festival celebrated on the ninth day of Navaratri, which falls in September or October. It is a day when people worship and show gratitude to the objects and instruments related to their profession and livelihood. This includes cleaning and worshiping all the tools, objects, and instruments of one’s profession with utmost purity and respect. The festival symbolizes the victory of good over evil and celebrates the annihilation of demon Mahishasura by Goddess Durga. It is believed that before using any tool, one should bow down to the tool.
