Disarmament Week begins

Disarmament Week begins founded by the UN, this week promotes awareness about disarmament issues to create a safer and more secure world. Disarmament Week is a week-long annual observance of the Final Document of the General Assembly’s 1978 special session on reducing weapons of mass destruction. The week fosters a better understanding among the public of the importance of disarmament and the issues of destruction surrounding it.
