Feast of Saints Peter and Paul is a Christian celebration commemorating the martyrdom of the apostles Saint Peter and Saint Paul. Observed as a public holiday in several majority-Catholic countries such as Malta, parts of Switzerland, Peru, and parts of the Philippines, it is also a holy day of obligation in Britain, though not recognized as such in North America, Australia, or New Zealand.
