

Govardhan Puja
Govardhan Puja is a Hindu festival in which devotees worship Govardhan Hill. A large variety of vegetarian food is prepared and offered to Krishna as a mark of gratitude. On this day, gods are made from cow dung and people decorate their livestock to worship them. It is also considered a festival of love and respect established between nature and humans. Farmers and cattle are specially acknowledged on this day.
