Gracia Festival (Spain)

This is a weeklong event that goes back over 200 years. It was originally started to celebrate the patron saint of the small town, Saint Isidro. Today it has evolved into a colourful event with many concerts and shows. There is a competition for the best decorated street which is taken very seriously. The streets are adorned with beautiful colourful displays that are walked under, all with different themes, such as underwater and sea life.
