Cyprus Independence Day

The Republic of Cyprus Independence Day commemorates the island country’s freedom from Britain in 1960. On this day, festivals and parades are held, displaying military tanks and other armoires to celebrate Cyprus’ military force. The Presidents Place holds events and conferences to present their patriotism, flying the Cyprus flags and decorating the building, streets and towns in national colours and symbol.
