Independence Day in Venezuela, also known as ‘Día de Independencia’, ‘Armed Forces Day’, or ‘Cinco de Julio’, is celebrated as the nation’s National Day and is a public holiday in Venezuela. It honors the signing of the first Declaration of Independence in Venezuela in 1821.
