International Day of Parliamentarism

Established by the UN in 2018, the purpose of this day is to review the progress of parliaments around the world in key areas such as representation and inclusion, and adaptation to new technologies. The date falls on the day the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) was created in 1889.
