King Tupou VI’s Birthday (Tonga)

A national public holiday in Tonga, King Tupou VI adopted the birthday of his father, King Tupou IV, as the official celebration of his own birthday (which is 12 July). When the date falls on a Sunday, the holiday and celebrations occur on the adjacent Monday.
