Malaysia Day
Malaysia Day is a national public holiday commemorating the establishment of the Malaysian federation in 1963. In this, Malaya, North Borneo, Sarawak and Singapore united into a single state, with Singapore later expelled in 1965. Celebrations include parades, street parties, and the singing of the song âMalaysia Foreverâ â which, while not the National Anthem, has become synonymous with the event.
