Mokshada Ekadashi

Also called Gita Jayanti or Maun Ekadashi or Baikuntha Ekadashi, this is an annual Hindu holy day in honour of the god Krishna that falls on the 11th lunar day (Ekadashi) of the fortnight of the waxing moon in the Hindu month of Margashira, which corresponds to November or December. Rituals on this day include fasting, worship and prayers to Vishnu and Krishna.
