Pausha Putrada Ekadashi
Pausha Putrada Ekadashi (trans: ‘Ekadashi that is the giver of sons’) is a holy day in the Hindu culture and religion. It falls on the 11th Lunar Day of the fortnight of the waxing moon, in Pausha (December or January in the Hindu calendar). On this day couples fast and worship the god Vishnu, in the hopes he will send them a son.
