Sankashti Chaturthi

Sankashti Chaturthi occurs one day in each Lunar month. It is dedicated to Ganeesha, the remover of obstacles and the supreme lord of intelligence. Devotees observe a strict fast which is broken at night after the sighting of the moon and prayers to Ganeesha.
