Trans Parent Day

Trans Parent Day, established in 2009, is a special day dedicated to celebrating and honoring transgender parents, as well as parents with transgender children. This observance provides an opportunity to recognize and show appreciation for the unique experiences, challenges, and contributions of transgender parents and their families.

Trans Parent Day serves as an inclusive alternative to traditional Mother’s Day or Father’s Day, acknowledging the diverse ways in which families are formed and nurtured. On this day, individuals may participate in small celebrations and engage in acts of appreciation and affirmation towards their transgender parent or caregiver.
