Universal Health Coverage Day, observed annually on December 12th, commemorates the United Nations’ landmark endorsement of universal health coverage (UHC) on December 12, 2012. This significant milestone reflects the global recognition of health as a fundamental human right and the commitment to ensure that everyone, regardless of their socio-economic status, has access to essential health services without facing financial hardship.
