World Breastfeeding Week

A United Nations initiative, World Breastfeeding week begins this day and lasts for a week. The week is aimed at promoting the benefits of breastfeeding and to improve the health of babies across the world. Breastfeeding associations around the world organise activities to celebrate breastfeeding and its important contribution to the survival, health, and wellbeing of all.
