World Osteoporosis Day

World Osteoporosis Day raises awareness for the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of osteoporosis and metabolic bone disease, organised by the International Osteoporosis Foundation. The campaign encourages education and awareness around the issue through marches and annual themes, focusing on the different aspects of bone disease each year. World Osteoporosis Day is accompanied by community events and local campaigns by national osteoporosis patient societie, participating in activities in over 90 countries.
