World Stroke Day

World Stroke Day raises awareness of stroke signs and the benefits of timely access to emergency medical care. When somebody is having a stroke, every second that goes by is crucial, leading to the #PreciousTime campaign. The World Stroke Day campaign provides an advocacy toolkit with resources and information on how to care for those who may suffer a stroke. The day is celebrated through a number of community events to raise awareness, such as the local World Stroke Day Fun Runs.
