Ganesh Chaturthi

Ganesh Chaturthi is a Hindu festival spanning ten days, commemorating the arrival of Lord Ganesh to the earthly realm from Mount Kailash. During this festival, clay statues of Ganesh are installed in homes and public spaces. On the tenth day, known as Ananta Chaturdashi, the statues are ceremoniously carried to rivers or seas for immersion, symbolizing Ganesh’s return to Mount Kailash. Throughout the festival, devotees engage in prayers, fasting, and making offerings to Lord Ganesh. Joyous celebrations fill the air as communities come together to honor the beloved deity.
