Sankashti Chaturthi

Sankashti Chaturthi, also referred to as Sankatahara Chaturthi, is a sacred day in the Hindu lunar calendar dedicated to Lord Ganesha, the remover of obstacles and the harbinger of good fortune. Falling on the fourth day of the waning phase of the moon (Krishna Paksha), this monthly observance is revered by devotees who seek the blessings of Lord Ganesha for the removal of obstacles and the fulfillment of their desires. On Sankashti Chaturthi, devotees fast and engage in prayers and rituals devoted to Lord Ganesha, expressing their devotion and seeking his divine grace.
