Established by the UN in 2015, this day marks the anniversary of the 1948 of the adoption of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights by the United Nations General Assembly, a milestone document that asserts the rights entitled to every person on the basis that ‘All human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights’.
