This is offered to all Diversity Atlas customers once deployment has taken place, and may be displayed for the duration of your license. The badge acknowledges that you have indeed ‘mapped and measured’ your team, and are taking meaningful real-world action to understand the diversity profile of your organisation to bring about harmony, inclusion and fair representation. It is a badge with which your organisation can take great pride in displaying.

Developed by our team of anthropologists, advisors, subject matter experts and data scientists, certificate applications are assessed across 27 unique criteria.

The ‘Diversity Data Leaders’ certification allows organisations to proudly celebrate their efforts in building inclusive teams.

HOW DOES THE 'DIVERSITY DATA LEADERS' CERTIFICATION PROCESS WORK?

  • There are up to 27 categories, and of these, customers must receive a ‘tick’ on at least 75%.
  • Some customers may not be able to address all 27 (due to legal considerations, or lack of applicable data), and so a minimum of 16 categories must be set, with the 75% minimum a constant.
  • The certification is project-focussed. It is a reward for solid communications and engagement with the positive spirit of progressive DEI initiatives, as well as the results of the Diversity Atlas data.
  • Some examples of the assessed categories.
  • Allowing for the data to be anonymously pooled to create global benchmark data
  • The gender split in participation within x percent of actual gender split in organisation
  • Inclusion sentiment mean score of participants who are not heterosexual is no more than x below inclusion sentiment mean score of all staff
  • ‘Prefer not to Answer’ rate on ‘Religion/Worldview’ less than x percent
  • The full list of 27 is available to licensed Diversity Atlas customers.

How do I obtain a certificate?

Applications are processed and (hopefully) approved by the Diversity Atlas Anthrodata team, including our data scientists, analysts, anthropologists, SMEs and our DEI Director. They will verify that you have met the criteria for certification, and once that is done, we will notify you immediately. If successful, you will be able to unlock the badge on your dashboard.

The certificate is acknowledgement that your organisation exemplifies leadership and commitment to creating a harmonious and thriving workplace culture, by successfully mapping and measuring the diversity and inclusion status of your team, successfully communicating the value of the project, gathered data in both strong quantity and quality, responded to the data, and have shown intention to make positive change within your environment.

We hope successful applicants wear it proudly, because it is a badge with which your organisation should take great pride in displaying, and we pre-emptively thank you for trusting us to partner with you on this most important DEI journey.
