World Philosophy Day

Lead by UNESCO, World, or, International Philosophy Day underlines the value of philosophy for the development of human thought. For each culture and for each individual, philosophy helps to build a more tolerant society and enables us to understand and respond to major contemporary challenges by creating the intellectual conditions for change. On this day, exercise in free, reasoned and informed thinking such as philosophical dialogues, debates, conferences, workshops, cultural events and presentations take place, addressing the major challenges of our time.
