Qingming Festival

Qingming Festival, also known as the Festival for Tending Graves, Pure Brightness Festival, or Tomb Sweeping Day, is a traditional Chinese festival observed to honor and commemorate ancestors. During this solemn occasion, families gather to visit the gravesites of their ancestors, clean the tombs, offer prayers, and make offerings of food, flowers, and other items as a sign of respect and remembrance. The Qingming Festival falls on the 15th day after the Spring Equinox, typically in early April, when the weather begins to turn warmer and vegetation starts to flourish.
