Pradosh Vrat (S)

Also called ‘Pradosham’, this twice-monthly Hindu day of worship is dedicated to Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati. It is observed through various rituals, including fasting, prayer, visits to temples and night prayers. Some devotees observe Pradosh Vrat from sunrise to sunrise, others from 90 minutes before sunrise to 60 minutes after sunset.
