Sankashti Chaturthi

Also called ‘Sankatashara Chaturthi’ and ‘Bhugga’, this once-a-month Hindu day of worship is dedicated to the deity Lord Ganesha, remover of all obstacles and supreme lord of intelligence. It is observed through various rituals, including fasting, prayer, visits to temples and night prayers.
